You are not a Failure!!!

Lot’s of experts say that if you want to be an expert at one thing, or another, you need to practice for about 10000 hours.

Do it doesn’t help when we live in a fast paced world, and it makes us want fast results. It makes us angry and frustrated when we don’t get the benefits we expect fast. And that is why you start self sabotaging yourself, thinking you are a failure, that you are not good enough, that others are better then you. And you start comparing yourself , and your results with other people’s success stories. These success stories are most of the time missing the hard work, and sweat that has gotten them there, and that is why when people have the courage to say that they worked non stop, they repeatedly fought against the world that told them they are a failure, they will not succeed, and kept practicing until they got the result they wanted.

It’s not a secret sauce, it’s not magic. Even the greatest athletes in the world will tell you repetition is the mother of success.

The fate of British Cycling changed in 2003 when the coach started making changes that improved every tiny thing by 1 %. And you will say 1% is nothing, and you might be right. Thing is if you aim to be 1% better every day, or maybe even just every week at what you want, in one year you…
