I’ve been dating for most of my adult life before I met my husband. Being ghosted is rough, but if you’re dating in these days, there is no way you’ll ever avoid being ghosted. It’s just part of life know! And while it can be confusing to have someone who seemed interested in you, and care about you one day suddenly just…go quiet, ghost quiet. This is valid not only for dating but for friends as well.

First of all, know that you’re not alone — even the most people that are beautiful in and out get ghosted by a person who seemed to like them in the beginning. Why? Why do people who seem to like you suddenly freak out and bail without any explanation?

The answer has a little bit to do with human nature. It’s hard not to take it personally when you get ghosted but remember: being ghosted doesn’t necessarily say something about you, but about the guy that does it.
