What is feminism?
I keep asking myself this lately…

Know the dictionary can tell us it is :
the advocacy of women’s rights on the ground of the equality of the sexes.
Do you find this sad? I do. I find this definition tragic. First of all, why do we need to have a word define the advocacy of women’s rights? And how completely misogynistic does on the ground of the equality of the sexes?
Why one of the two biological sexes has to be less than the other? And the other better?
All the social and cultural differences from one country to another can be analyzed to the point of proving the different ways men and women are treated depending on the social activity and cultural norm, of each sex.
We fight for equality of all races when we don’t even have equality of the two biological sexes yet. In theory, we do, the practice is what kills us.
In theory, we are all seen the same, and everyone is judged the same, and free to do as they please. Until you look at the sex they have, pun intended. When a man has sex with a different woman every other night, we say he is a dog, a charmer, good on him. When a woman does it, we call her a slut, and an easy ley. That seems about right, no?
Why do we even try? I mean even do companies pay differently depending on the gender you are, men always get paid better for the same job.
I still get upset when I remember the time I found out a new college was hired with no experience, and just out of uni, and was being paid for the same job I did with about 4000£ a year more than me, I had about 7 years experience at that point. And no it isn’t only me in this situation, and it does happen quite often, more then we think.
There are people that don’t get it, even know in 2020. You meet these people in real life, not just the Internet. Sometimes, it’s even a woman. One college girl tried to explain to me how society has ruined a generation of men by catering to women and feminism and ignored all the men needs.
Apparently, men need a certain amount of power and privilege, otherwise, their egos go to hell, and the society as well. Inequality makes the world go round and round. A few of my women acquaintances blame…
