Today my love is two pampers and a speed cleaning at bedtime. Love is late nights with minimal sleep and early mornings deeply caffeinated. Love is taking it one day at a time, one deep breath on the toilet while my son climbs my head, and my girl sings while brushing her teeth next to us. Love is crying for no reason and being held by the person that you love more than yourself, and still have moments you want to hit with a pan out of annoyance. Love is holding hands in the dark without words, just thoughts and dreams.

Some days love is a romantic dinner in our pj’s with takeaway while the kids are asleep and I can’t remember when I’ve had a shower last. Love is a weekend getaway without a care in the world. Love is long kisses and playful nights with the kids monitor next to the bed to make sure they don’tneed you. Love is high heels and a suit jacket , that 5 minutes later i chainge in to trainers and jeans.

Today my heart skipped a beat when he winked across a table of sticky fingers and food-smeared plates that needed monitoring so they didn’t float any moment. Love is him making my coffee just the way I like it, before I even now I needed it.

I’m relishing our love packaged as takeout dinners—a baby between us—a pre-pre teen with an artistic side, shared laughs at our little circus that is completed by an arrogant fluffy cat.

Because love with you is a million little things and a lifetime of different seasons. Love is growing old together . . waking up over and over to a new love that changes its definition with every minute that passes.

Normal person likes to read, sleep. And as of lately to write alongside my husband in here. Must bring your whole self to the table if you want to thrive today.
