  • Peaky eaters…a mums nightmare

In the era of Google(and all the other search engines, but let's face it, Google rules), and all these free online search engines that give us so much information. All the forums, Facebook groups that tell you(you as a mum/parent) your kid can turn out broken /sick due to you not breastfeeding enough, not starting with the activities too soon, doing too much, too little of everything basically.

My little one deciding water is better than food

So many new ways of being a parent, there are classes that tell you everything, from how not to congratulate your kid when they learn something new(because it seems that does not stimulate them in a progressive way), to how to make organiser boards for them from a very young age so they can learn how to be organised and proactive quick so they depend for as little as possible to you, and this way they can learn how to be financially independent.

And don’t get me wrong, I understand the appeal to all of this, the utility of these great things, but …oh yes there is one :P

When have we disregarded making your kids aware that we are there for them at every step, and that we are proud when they succeed, why do we want them all grown up and independent so soon?? Why we can’t be happy because they are happy, because they enjoy their childhood ???

Why when they are peaky eaters, we go online and see so many information telling you what you are doing…
