My disappointment in the NHS

Yeah disappointment, you see I need to start from the beginning.

It started with me being in at my first midwife appointment when I was informed I’ve got an extraordinary uterus, that is a bicornuate uterus.

And that is after I did have a scan a few months prior, and NOBODY EVEN GAVE ME THIS LOVELY UPDATE WITH MY RESULTS. My pregnancy has been not quite the superb idyllic experience I’ve dreamt of, as I ended up in crutches my last two months of pregnancy, ended up in the hospital with different painful complications, and ended up having a recommendation from a obstetrician for a C-section. Then when my labour started I have been refused it, because I was not far enough(36 weeks). And because they are such great decision makers short term, my daughter ended up in distress blocked on the way out and vacuumed out with a trip of 2 weeks directly to NICU, and another month and a half of close supervision due to complications. Before I hear all the critics saying I should not complain because a lot more people got it a lot harder then that, I need to tell you I get it, but would you not rather not pee your pants thinking what if she ends up having neurological development impairment because of what they did??

Ah but this is not the end. Ending up with 3 miscarriages I’ve finally been referred to a specialist to look in to what is the cause of them…

Normal person likes to read, sleep. And as of lately to write alongside my husband in here. Must bring your whole self to the table if you want to thrive today.
