Movies and books help relieve past years before the end of the year

A good movie or book can make you go back in childhood.

I have my short list of movies that always make me go back in time, and relieve some memorable winters in my life. They are a portal for me, as I am sure for lots of others.

I remember the first time I stayed under the stairs with Harry, and five minutes later getting my first wand, and of course meeting Hagrid. Just like I remember feeling miserable with Scarlet when Rhett made fun of her childish love confession. Or singing The Hanging Tree with the one and only Mockingjay.

The list of adventures that take me back is quite long, do very emotional. You see when Harry was hiding under the stairs, I was preying to find some stairs to hide under, as my dad was turning in to a death eater around us.

When Scarlet had her first โ€™โ€™heart breakโ€™โ€™ I had mine put back together by my sister one night, and that is the first time she started teaching me English.

And when the Mockingjay sang her heart out, I got my real first step twords independence, and was informed I got my first job.

Each one of these movies, and books, and many others have given me lessons in life I might have otherwise missed in my small bobble.

Normal person likes to read, sleep. And as of lately to write alongside my husband in here. Must bring your whole self to the table if you want to thrive today.
