$0.72 pay for my first month on Medium
If we are more accurate with the actual time, it has been for two weeks. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that I would get paid for my thoughts. You see I have decided to write here as an exercise. It is more of a journal/therapeutic exercise. And the more I do it, the more I’ve understood people that do this every day.
Don’t have any dreams about becoming a full-time writer, no, no. That lovely dream is not for me, so I’ll be honest and say that I’m pleasantly surprised about my unexpected income, and would not mind making it a regular coffee jar income.
Reading my pay email from Medium a few minutes ago has been such a nice surprise. And my hat off to you all hardworking, quick-minded, Hemingway writes out there. It is extremely impressive how you all manage to make a living from this, and help open peoples eyes to new perspectives, emotions, experiences, life lessons and knowledge.
I’ve published about 15 articles/journal entries and ended up with $0.72. That shows that people actually appreciate other peoples views and experiences. That gives me hope for tomorrow and for the new generations. And it also makes me more aware of how I express myself, and the repetitive dex I use on a day to day basis. So Medium helps me how in more ways than expected, and actually connects me with some very intelligent people and they work.
So this has been my appreciative rambling towards Medium, people on Medium, and all you lot that have deemed me worthy of being followed, claps, highlights and messages. Thank you to all of you.
